Our Investment Philosophy
Each of our client's risk level is carefully considered and is measured by beta and standard deviation.
The firm's philosophy is modern portfolio theory. This philosophy is that you cannot time the market, buy quality investments, rebalance, and be diversified. MPT models an asset's return as a normally distributed function, defines risk, and models a portfolio as a weighted combination of assets, so that the return of a portfolio is the weighted combination of assets' returns. By combining different assets whose returns are not perfectly positively correlated, MPT seeks to reduce the total variance of the portfolio's return as well as the risk.
