Martin S. Kofman, CPA
Certified Public Accountant & Wealth Management Advisor
Marty began his career in public accounting at PriceWaterhouse (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers), and during his tenure there, he gained valuable experience consulting with clients and preparing financial statements, individual tax returns, and corporate tax returns. While at PW, Marty was given the unique opportunity to work at several of the international offices, including offices in France, Germany, Switzerland, and Japan. This international experience broadened Marty’s outlook, and the knowledge and perspective he gained is still something that guides him today.
Marty started his tax and accounting firm in the 1990s to provide his clients an unparalleled and personalized service. He added wealth management services in 1998 after noticing that many of his tax clients were investing in products that were unsuitable for them.
Marty has always been committed to engaging and giving back to his community. He has served as an emergency foster parent for over 20 years and cared for hundreds of children. Marty was recognized as “Foster Parent of the Year” by his district office in 2022. In addition, Marty has also served as a shelter captain for the annual Christmas in the City event, where over 2800 children experiencing homelessness are cared for, fed, and entertained. In his personal life, Marty enjoys spending time on the Cape with his family and golden retriever, Watson.
